Ford Michael Dies At 79
Ford Michael, 79, Norman, Okla., brother of Carl Michael of Augusta, died there this morning.
His service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Maize Funeral Home in Norman.
Other survivors include his wife, Marion; a daughter, Carolyn, and brothers, Frank Michael of Tonkawa, Okla, and John Michael of New Iberia, La.

Brother Dies Christmas Day
Oral Joy, Cross Plains, Texas, brother of Mrs. Dick (Opal) Schoeb of Augusta, died there Dec. 25.
Funeral services were yesterday at Cross Plains. Burial was in Abilene, Texas.

Grace C. Ladd Dies At 85
Grace C. Ladd, 85, Wamego, a native Kansan and maternal grandmother of Augustan Lynda McDermott, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, at a community hospital in Westmoreland.
Her funeral will be 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, Dec. 30, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eureka. Burial will be in the Greenwood County Cemetery there.
Mrs. Ladd, who was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Ladd, suffered a stroke earlier this month.
In addition to Mrs. McDermott, Mrs. Ladd leaves six other grandchildren; a daughter, Mrs. David Mahar of Wamego, and a son, Bert Ladd of Denver, Colo., and six great grandchildren.

Georgia Martin Dies At 83
Georgia Anna Martin, 83, rural Leon, died Wednesday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Max DaMetz will officiate and burial will be at the Blankinship Cemetery in Rosalia.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
She was born May 6, 1900 in Vien, Okla., to John and Florence Brown Dennum.
She married Clay E. Martin 40 years ago at Joplin, Mo. He survives.
Other survivors include half sisters, Gladys Thomas of Howard and Cecil Easley of Amarillo, Texas.
Carlson funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

L.E. Richey Dies At 54
Lawrence Edward Richey, 54, Route 3, died last night at his home.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Larry Blythe will officiate and burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery.
He was born March 23, 1929 in Augusta to Robert and Nellie Bohannon Richey.
In 1950, he married Patricia Plummer in Carson City, Nev. She survives.
He was a retired merchant seaman and a retired iron worker.
Other survivors include a daughter, Julia Bollig of Augusta; brothers, Marvin of Independence, Mo., and Raymond of Bushton; a sister, Mildred Flannery of Augusta and two grandchildren.

Father Dies In Newton
Herman W. Schuneman, 78, Udall, father of Jack Schuneman of Leon, died Thursday at Axtell Hospital in Newton.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Udall. Rev. Fred Dycus will officiate and burial will be at the Udall Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 11, 1905 in Bureau County, Illinois to Adolph and Emma LeBahn Schuneman.
He married Elia Mae Smith. She survives.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church there.
Other survivors include a son, Don of Newton; a daughter, Anita McCaskey of Altamont; a sister, Alma of Lamont, Okla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Tuesday, January 3, 1984 Erma Breaker Died At Hospital
Erma Jeanne Breaker, 55, Douglass, died Sunday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. today at the Senter-Smith Mortuary at Mulvane. Dr. Keith Arledge officiated and burial was in the Mulvane (Kan.) cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Butler County Association for Retarded Citizens in care of Diana Schuster, 17 W. Court, El Dorado, 67042.
She was born July 15, 1928 in Wichita to Darvin and Katheryn Long Breaker Sr.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darvin Breaker Sr. of Douglass; a brother, Darvin Jr., of Euless, Texas; a niece, Carol Breaker of Odessa, Texas; nephews, Mike and Darvin III of Euless; three great nephews and a great niece.
