Raymond Butts, 74, Leon, ret. Jayhawk/NCR pipeline gauger, died on Wednesday, Dec 10,2008.
Service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec 14, at the First Christian Church in Leon.

Walter G. Corteville

Walter G. Corteville, 77, Wichita, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Funeral service was
held today followed with interment at the Towanda Cemetery.
Survivors: wife, Arlene of Augusta; former wife, LaVerne; sons, James, Wayne and Bill; daughter, Jane; stepdaughters, Jill and Joann; sisters, Alice and Diane; six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Hoyle James Sisk

Hoyle James Sisk, age 89, Douglass, retired Mobile Oil Company employee, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, Douglass Church of Christ. Graveside service 2 p.m. Monday, Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.
Survivors: include his wife of 69 years, Lillian; son, Marvin Sisk; brother, Charles Sisk; two grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Memorials have been
established with Maude Carpenter Children's Home, 1501 N. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67203 and Douglass High School Scholarship Fund, 901 E. First, Douglass, KS 67039.

Nancy “Michelle” Swaney

Nancy"Michelle" Swaney, age 63, Derby, retired McDonalds manager, mother of David Swaney of Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008.
Graveside funeral service was held yesterday at the El Paso Cemetery.
Survivors include: other son, Allen Swaney; daughters, Teri Shilling, Sheri Walker, and Megan Koger; brothers, Pat May-field and Dennis Mayfield; sisters, Teresa Roushkolb and Jeredene Smith; seven grandchildren.
