Norine Nath
Nath, Norine, 94, of
Denver, CO, formerly of
Augusta and Wichita, KS,
entered her eternal rest
on Nov. 19, 2008 after a
brief bout with pneumo-
nia.
She was a member of
Christ Lutheran Church
in Augusta, KS. She was
interred in Wichita Park
Cemetery.
A memorial service is
planned for Dec. 27, 2008 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church in
Denver, CO.
Memorials may be giv-
en in Norine’s name to
Trinity Academy in
Wichita, or Christ
Lutheran Church,
Augusta, KS.
She is survived by her
brother Bill of Kansas
City, MO, son Bill of
Houston, daughters Miri-
im of Anchorage and
Uorine of Denver, eight
grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by
sons Paul and Carl, and
husband Ewald. Graduat-
ing from Valparaiso Uni-
versity in 1933,she
taught school in Iowa
before marrying Ewald in
1938.
She was a homemaker,
bookkeeper for the fami-
ly business, and farmed
with Ewald in rural
Augusta for many years.

5:45 a.m. She was 88
years old.
Her
funeral

be 2 p.m.

Lyons, KS, with Rev. Robert Friesen
officiating.
Visitation will be from
2 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec.
22, at the funeral home
and from 9 a.m. until
service time on Tuesday.
Burial will be in the
Lyons Municipal Ceme-
tery.
She leaves two sisters
from Newton and her
husband Elwyn L.
Alexander of Augusta.
They were married 64
years and had eight chil-
dren.
Surviving are sons Ronald & Alice Alexander
and family, Jimmy &
Teresa Alexander and
family, both of Oregon.
