Gayle E. McHone
Gayle E. McHone, 86, Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at LakePoint Nursing Center, Augusta.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Thursday, with family to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. and funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, rural Benton.
Gayle was born in Bur-rton, Kan. on Jan. 11, 1923, the daughter of George and Minnie (Foth) Neuway. She worked as an assembler at Criss Optical. On Jan. 11,1942 she married Alfred Hugh McHone who preceded her in death in February 2003.
She is survived by: sons, Steve McHone and wife Ava, and Stan McHone and wife Debbie, both of Augusta; daughter, Julie Keely of Leon; eight
grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, and one step great-greatgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; daughter, Jo McGee Nelson and son-in-law, Gary Keely.
Family requests donations to Amedisys Hospice.

Jayden Don Pinckney-Bailey

Jayden Don Pinckney-Bailey, infant son of Amanda Kathleen Pinckney and Dakota Don Bailey, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11,2009, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m., with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include: his parents of Augusta; brother, Landon Pinckney of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Michelle and Teyron Pinckney McClain and Kevin and Lorna Pinckney, all of Augusta; paternal grandparents, Shine Adams of Newkirk, Okla. and Thomas and Kim Bailey of Liberty, Mo.; great-grandparents, Larry and Pat Marcotte of Augusta,
Steve and Peggy Brunton of Wichita, Dennis and Kathy Chestnut of Wichita, and Ed and Sue White of Leon.
Memorials designated to the Jayden Pinckney-Bailey Memorial Fund in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Eva Jolene Fanning

Eva Jolene (Sedgwick) Fanning, 82, of Ottawa, formerly of Augusta, died on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. this evening, at the VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the Church of God in Melvern. Interment will follow at Melvern Cemetery.
She was the retired director of the Augusta Child Care Center.
Survivors include: sister, Daphne Tompkins; children, Danny Fanning, Shirlene Taylor, Jody Sander, Dr. Kyle Fanning and Jim Fanning; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by the VanArsdale Funeral Home, Lebo, Kan.
