Ernest Ray Thompson
Ernest Ray Thompson, age 56, Mul vane, H'wker-Beechcraft employee and former Boeing
Company Environmental Engineer, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, Feb.4,2009.
Funeral service was held yesterday, the First Baptist Church in Mulvane.
His survivors include: sons, Ryan Thompson, Longmont, Colo, and Eric (Patricia) Stage, Winfield; daughter, Laura
(Bob) Dennett, Augusta; mother, Clara Thompson, Mulvane; brother, Larry W. (Diana) Thompson, Andover; sisters, CJ (Steven) Saboe, Katy, Texas, Linda (John) Overman, Wichita; 15 grandchildren.
Ernest is preceded in death by his father, Lynn Thompson.
A memorial has been established with First Baptist Church, 1020 N. 2nd, Mulvane, KS 67110 and American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, 5375 SW 7th St., Topeka, KS 66606.

John Donald "J.D." Thompson, 83, Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Augusta, died on Jan. 30, 2009.
He was cremated.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1926 in Tarkio, Mo., to Fred T. and Nellie (Perkins) Thompson. He married Melba Dean Kelly Carmen on April 28,1949 in Alvarado, Texas.
He is preceded in death by wife, Melba; parents Fred T. and Nellie Thompson; brothers and sisters, Thelma and John Hutter; Fred L. and Betsy Thompson; Dale and Charlene Thompson; Gale Thompson Upchurch and Barbara Thompson Burns.
He is survived by: son and daughter-in-law,
Richard and Joan Carmen of Clarks, Neb.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debi and David Lafler, Lodgepole, Neb. and Linda and Roger Reed, Buckeye, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; niece, Lea Plarski and good friend, Joan Warrington, both of Palm Harbor, FL. and other nieces and nephews.
