David A. Willliams
David A. Williams, 73, Grove, Okla., died at Clare-house in Tulsa, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009. after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland, Okla. A funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at Hickory Grove Gymnasium. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born at Tulsa, Okla, on Oct. 30, 1935, to Edgar and Mildred (Bardwell) Williams. He was a graduate of the Grove High School Class of 1954. He was also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quan-tico, Va. In 1954, he went to work for the Boeing Airplane Company in Wichita. In 1970, he went to work as a deputy sheriff for Butler County, Kan. In 1975, he became sheriff of Butler County until his retirement in 1997. In 1998, he moved to Grove from ElDorado. He married Audrey Lee Raymond on April 8,1955. She preceded him on Dec. 17, 2005.
He was a member of the Butler Baptist Church, Kansas Sheriffs Assn., National Sheriffs Assn, and the Grove Masonic Lodge #187.
He is survived by: a son, Randy Williams, of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Sandra and Eric Kennedy of Collinsville, Okla., Tonya Panther of
Moore, Okla., and Vicky and Robert Jones, of Barling, Ark.; two brothers, Roger and Donna Williams of Mesa, Ariz., and Steve and Joyce Williams, of Pioneer, Mo.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by: his parents; his wife; two sons, Tommy Lee and Stephen Dee Williams; a brother, Larry Paul Williams; and two sisters, Sunny Whan Turner and Joyce Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clarehouse, in care of the funeral home.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, at Victory Fellowship Foursquare Gospel Church in Emporia. Private internment will be at the Hartford Cemetery.
Chester was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps.
veteran and retired from Dolly Madison.
He is survived by: sons, Thomas Loyd and David Barrett; daughters, Marsha Combes and Roxie Barrett; nine grandchildren, including Gretchen
(Howard) Mitchell of Augusta; 12 great-grandchildren, including Tyler Rumiser of Towanda, and one great-great grandchild.
Floyd F. Teegarden
Floyd F. Teegarden, 83, Pratt, retired KDOT engineer, and brother of Raymond Teegarden of Augusta, died on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m., visitation with family from 5 to 7 p.m. today, at the Livingston Funeral Home in King-man, Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 2, 1926 in Augusta, the son of James and Anna Barbara ( Miller) Teegarden. He was a longtime resident of Kingman, moving to Pratt in 2007. He was member of the Christ Church Episcopal, King-man.
On Sept. 20, 1945 he married Sue Whitlock. She died on July 15,2001. On Aug. 31,2002, he married Ailene Hyde Clark. She survives. Other survivors include: son, Tom; stepdaughter, Debbie Lambert, Susan Davies, and Kim Hixson; son-in-law, Gary Bailey; brothre, Raymond; three grandchildren; one step grandson and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Lynne Bailey.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Victory in the Valley, or the Christ Church Episcopal, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman.
