Ruth Helen Simpson
Ruth Helen Ball Pepper Simpson, 87, of Franklin, Tenn., former resident of A igusta, died on March 20, 2009.
Funeral service was held last week.
Survivors include: daughter, Peggy Schantz; sons, Larry Pepper and Phillip Pepper; brothers, Wesley Ball and Don Ball; sister, Maurice Brewer; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Neil S. Pepper and Noval Simpson.
Linda C. Drouillard
Linda G. Drouillard, 58, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009.
Rosary 7 p.m. Tuesday and a Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, both at
St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will be at Douglass Cemetery.
Linda was born in El Dorado on July 16, 1950,
the daughter of Cecil Gail and Viola May (Edwards) Drouillard. She worked as a dog groomer and owned the Pup Hut in Augusta.
She is survived by: son, Robin Smith (Mary Knebler) of Augusta; daughter, Sharle Hudson (Brian) of Augusta; mother, Viola Drouillard of Augusta; sisters, Deanna Smith of Wichita; Faye Danler (John) and Shirley Gay (Horace "Pee-wee") all of Augusta and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Sanders and her father, Gail Drouillard.
Memorials to the Pals Animal Rescue or the Linda C. Drouillard Memorial Fund c/o Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Robert Braden
Robert Lee Braden, 71, Augusta, retired owner of Braden Oil, passed away Saturday, April 11,2009 at Via Christi St. Francis in the Harry Hynes Hospice Inpatient Unit in Wichita.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Those attending should use the 12th Street entrance.
Robert was born Sept. 23,1937 in Madison, Kan. to Charles and Mildred (Storrer) Braden. He graduated from El Dorado High School and served in the U.S. Army. Robert married Alieta “Dee” Russell on June 6,1995 in Las Vegas, Nev.
He is survived by; his spouse, Dee of the home; sons, Gary Braden of Rogers, Ark., James Braden of Augusta; daughters, Linda Sloderbeck of Mountain Home, Idaho, Cheryl Robecker of Battlement Mesa, Colo., Jeannie Mourning of Littleton, Colo, and Karen Butz of Edward, Colo.; 10 grandchildren.
Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice 313 South Market, Wichita 67202 or in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Amos Ray Williams, Sr., 96, Augusta, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009.
Services are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner West Chapel, Augusta.
