Philip Thomas Courtright

Philip Thomas Courtright, 62, of Augusta, died. Thursday. March 19, 2009.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Service will be 10a.m. on Monday, March 23,2009 at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Philip was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 15, 1947, the son of Ray and Mary L. (Thurman) Courtright. He graduated from W.S.U. in 1970.
Phil worked as a contract carpenter and retired from the Augusta Post Office as a rural carrier in 1999.
On Aug. 18, 1968 he married Carol Ann (Frost) at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta and she survives.
He is also survived by daughters, Julie Renee Courtright of Bryan, Texas; and Amy Rae Adams and husband Mark of Augusta; son, Eric Wayne Courtright and wife Joey of Levit-town, Pa.; his mother, Mary Courtright of Augusta; grandchildren, Devon Thomas Culp and Zachary Christopher Adams. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray.
Family suggests donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Augusta Public Library.

Dr. Rev. Thomas Paul Koranda, Wichita, retired pastdr, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home of Augusta.
