Jeanette ‘Jeanne’ Armstrong

L. Jeanette "Jeanne" Armstrong, 83, homemaker of Rose Mill, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
Viewing 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta; rosary 7 p.m. Thursday, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, both at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, Interment at Dunlap Cemetery, Rose Hill. Bel Aire, KS 67226.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Jeanette was born Oct. 18,1925 in Grant County, Okla.: the daughter of Truman and Merta (Lora) Slothowcr. On Feb. 2, 1947 she married Joseph Leo Armstrong and he preceded her in' death Dec. 19, 2005.
She is survived by: sons, Daniel and wife Susie; Jack and wife Mary, both of Rose Hill; daughters, Roxie Lee Leary and husband John of Assonet, Mass., Eileen Wiebe and husband Moe of Tyler, Texas, Loretta Pechtel and husband Lloyd of Tieton, Wash., Rose Bohenkamp and husband Ken of Omaha, Neb., Carol Tracy and husband Terry, and Angie Wartick and husband Kent, both of Rose Hill: sister, Betty Bolan of Wichita; 25 grandchildren. and 21 great-grandchildren.

Glenda Ehret Hunter

Glenda Ehret Hunter. daughter of Lucille and Glen “Rusty" Ehret, passed
away on Dec. 25. 2008, at the Texoma Medical Cen- I ter in Dennison, Texas.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
Glenda is 'survived by: husband, Barry; mother, Lucille; sister, Rhonda White of Royce, Texas; brother, Monty (Kim) Ehret of Celina, Texas and Lorraine Ehret; nephews, Justine White, Brett and Shaun Ehret; niece, Renee Ehret; great-riiece, Lauren White; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins,
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Glen Rusty Ehret.
Memorials may go to the First Christian Church, 1600 State, Augusta, KS 67010.
