Chester “Scott” Johnson

Chester "Scott" Johnson, 94, Augusta, retired Beechcraft employee, passed away, Monday, June 15, 2009 in Winfield.
Viewing will be from 1-5 today and visitation with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. this evening. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the Dunsford-Zciner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Scott was born Dec. 14, 1914 in Roper, Kan. to Alfred Hays and Sadie Amanda (Scott) Johnson. He graduated from Benedict High, in Benedict, Kan. and married Mary Etta Beck “Pete” on March 9, 1941 in Bulfalo.
Kan. One of his favorite hobbies was woodworking.
Survivors include; wife, Mary Etta "Pete" of the home; son, Miles (Barbara) Johnson of Warner Robbins, Ga.; daughter, Carol (J.D.) Bell of Wichita; ex-daughter-in-law, Darlene (Ron) Kerns of Goddard; five grandchildren, Kimberly Chess-more, Denise Vann, Mandy Johnson, Shannon Gonsalves and Scott Johnson; eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.

Debra Jean Green

Debra Jean Green, 47, El Dorado, mother and mother-in-law of Maymee and Jeff Murphy of Augusta, died on June 12, 2009.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Other survivors include: children, Michelle (Sal) Alosa and Phillip Walker; companion, Clegg Ratcliff; mother, Phyllis Green; father, Roy Green: brothers, Dennis Green and Duane Green; two grandchildren.

Grace Phyllis Schreiner

Grace Phyllis Schreiner, 90, Wichita, sister and sister-in-law of Russell and Sondra Sibley of Augusta, died on Sunday, June 14, 2009.
Graveside service was held today at the Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita.
Other survivors: son, Larry Schreiner; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Cochran Mortuary, Wichita.

Hazel Eldringhoff

Hazel A. Eldringhoff of Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, June 16,2009.
Service arrangements are pending with Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
