Chris R. Corbin

Chris R. Corbin, 39, beloved father and son, Towanda, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009.
Viewing 10 am. to 8 p.m. today, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Service 7 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Fulton Valley Farms, 5079 SW Fulton Road, Towanda.
Chris was born in Wichita on Jan. 11,1970; the son of David R. and Betty A. (Saunders) Corbin of Towanda. He worked as a sales representative for Schaben Industries and was also as a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: daughters, Canyon and Hunter Corbin of Crowley, Texas; step daughter, Randi Lang of Augusta; brother, Richard Corbin of Towanda; grandchild, Brenley Lynn Fouts and niece and nephews, Cayenne, Caden and Brody Corbin.
Memorials to the Chris Corbin Memorial Scholarship Fund at Butler Community College.

Prater

Thomas K. Prater, 55, Wichita, former owner of Prater Construction, fa-
ther and father-in-law of Lisa (Matthew) Catlin of Andover, died on Monday, July 13, 2009.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita. Service at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, at Central Christian Church.
Other survivors: wife, Juanita: son, Jacob Prater; brother, Travis Prater, Jr.; one grandson.
A memorial has been established with Central Christian Church, 2900 N. Rock Rd., Wichita, 67226.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.

Alvin “Dale” Clemence

Alvin “Dale” Clemence, 86, retired Boeing employee, Valley Center,
brother and brother-in-law of Gerald and Chris-tene Clemence of Andover, died on Wednesday, July 15,2009.
Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center. Service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Calvary Baptist Church in Valley Center.
Other survivors include: wife, Marie; children, Sherry and Jim Arnold, and Stan and Carol Clemence; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Leon Clemence; sister, Bonnie Shugart.
