Joe D. Eastridge

Joe D. Eastridge, 76, of Augusta, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009.
Service was held Monday at Lakecrest Bible Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
oe was born in Wichita on May 21, 1933; the son of the late Fred and Maggie (Dixon) Eastridge. He retired as a truck driver at McGill Truck Lines.
He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On Dec 27, 1952 he married Delores (Surbrook) in Indiana and she preceded him in death on April. 27, 2000.
A son, Guy, a daughter, Linda Mathes and a brother, Fred also preceded him in death.
He is survived by: sons, Mike Eastridge and wife Serena of Benton, Gary Eastridge and wife Marci of El Dorado; daughters, Debbie Crowley and husband Ron of Augusta; Laurie Espe and husband Steve of Fredonia, Karen Hada of Syria, and Jo Green and husband
Michael of Wichita; brother, Robert Eastridge of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Ruth Griffith of Mobile, Ala.; sister, Virginia Eastridge of Florida; 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Brandon M. Zdun

Brandon M. Zdun, 26, Andover, died on Monday, July 13, 2009.
A memorial service was held last evening at Hope Community Church in Andover.
A memorial has been established with Hope Music Works, P.O. Box 436, Rose Hill, KS 67133.
Betty Windsor-Mackey
Betty Lucille (Bass) Windsor-Mackey, 83, Wichita, mother and mother-in-law of Earl and Lynnette Windsor of Augusta, died on Friday, July 17, 2009.
Funeral service was held this morning at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Other survivors include: other sons, Doug, Rodney, and Mark;
10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; husband, Frank Mackey; six step children; 10 step grandchildren; 20 step great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Stauder and Naomi Maxwell; brother, Irvine Bass.
A memorial has been established with Andover Public Library, 1511 E. Central Ave., Andover, KS 67002.

Elizabeth Sue Whitaker

Elizabeth Sue “Susie” (Hill) Whitaker, 48, Coffeyville, formerly of Augusta, died on June 15, 2009.
Graveside service was held today at the Coffeyville Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 8, 1961 to Myron and Doris Hill in Missouri.
Her survivors include: her husband, Matthew Whitaker; sons, Sam and Ben Whitaker, all of Coffeyville; father, Charles Hauser of Leroy, Kan.; three sisters, Linda Doggett of Leroy, Sandra (Kenny) Kuhn of Joplin, Mo., Margaret (Charlie) Dennett of Atlanta, Kan.; three brothers, Chuck (Jan) Hauser, Atlanta, Ga., Jeffery Hill,
Ellsworth, and Greg (Sonya) Hill of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Doris Hauser and Myron Hill, and sister, Janice Brunson.
Barnes Funeral Home of Coffeyville handled the arrangements.

Kathryn Huston

Kathryn Huston, 61, retired Benefits Coordinator for Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Wichita, died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
Viewing from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Service at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at Lincoln Baptist Church in Wichita.
Survivors: husband, Jim; daughters, Susanne Anderson, Leann Hartzell, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hockett, all of Wichita;
parents, George and Ruth Anne Naugle of Augusta; brother, Marvin (Nona) Naugle of Montrose, Colo.; sister, Karen Iseman of Port Orange, Fla.; 10 grandchildren.
