Jimmie Copeland

Jimmie Harrold Copeland, 67, Augusta, retired from Cessna Aircraft, passed away on Tuesday, Nov: 10, 2009.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1415 S. Topeka, Wichita.
Survived by: his wife, Janet Cota-Copeland; father, Harold C. Copeland; sisters, Betty (Dennis) McCart and Annette (Michael) McKinney; daughter, Marcella “Missie” (Michael) Hansen; two grand-
daughters; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceded in death by his mother, Escena Copeland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lord’s Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita KS 67214.

Dr. G.E. Colvin

Dr. G. E. Colvin, 96, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at his residence.
Visitation 1-7 p.m. Saturday with family to greet friends from 5-7 p.m., at Headley Funeral
Chapel, Augusta. Service
will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Dr. Colvin was born in Miltonvale, Kan. on June 24,1913; the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Roedinger) Colvin. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. On June 14,1946 he married Wilma J.
Colvin in Clay Center, Kan.
They moved to Augusta in 1948 where he began his practice as a chiropractor, retiring in 2003.
He is survived by: his wife, Wilma; sons, Bob Colvin and wife Jan of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Bill Colvin and wife Teresa of Overland Park; son in law, Glen Sigars of Parker, Colo.; grandchildren, Jeremy Colvin,
Amy Nix, Caroline Neher, Aubrey Colvin, Hailey Colvin, Andrea, Nathan and Danny Sigars; and
great-grandchildren, Charlie and William Colvin and Spencer, Mason and Sophia Nix.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Sigars.
Memorials to the Christ Lutheran Church.
