James Daniel Dunn

James Daniel Dunn, 70, Andover, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009.
Visitation from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, at Hillside Funeral Home East, Wichita. Graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Andover Cemetery, Andover.
Survivors include: wife, Carol; sons, Michael of Andover and Jim of Texas; daugher, Cindy Graves of Sedgwick;
brothers, David and Patrick Dunn of Pekin, ILL.; sisters, Diane Dunn, Katie Holum, and Jeannie Provine, also of Pekin, 111.; five grandchi-dren and one great-grandchild.

John V. Linot

John V. Linot, 74, Rose Hill, farmer and retired Boeing flight line mechanic, died on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
Funeral mass was held this morning at St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include: wife, Shirley L.; children, Laura (Tim) Walsh of Caney, Susan Linot of Rose Hill, Patty (Mark) Randall of Rose Hill,
Rita (Michael) Giles of Murrieta, Calif., Jim Linot of Rose Hill, Randy (Sandee) Linot of Augusta and Bob (Marcy) Linot Andover;
17 grand children; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Tom Linot, Betty Roberts,
Margie Roberts, Joe Linot, and Mary Ann Peters.
Memorials established with St. Michael Building Fund, Kansas Dialysis Association and Cancer Center of Kansas.
Arrangements by Smith Mortuary, Derby.

Dorothy Mae Hodges

Dorothy Mae Hodges, 88, Douglass resident for 65 years, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.
Viewing from 2-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, with family present from 5-7p.m. at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, in Douglass. Graveside service at 2p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, Okla.
Dorothy was born at Burbank, Okla, in 1921 to William and Ruby Logan. She attended Burbank Elementary School and graduated from Kaw City High School in 1938.
She was a member of the Osage Tribe of Indians. She was a homemaker and the most beautiful and loving Mom and Grandma who enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing, bingo and her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Francis "Tige" Hodges and is survived by: son, Kenny and his wife Darlene of Hot Springs, Ark.; daughter, Linda
Hamilton and husband Leon of Augusta, 6 grand-kids; 12 great grand kids; 3 great-great grandkids; brother, Kenneth Logan of Houston, TX; niece Betty Gentz of Houston, TX.
Casketbearers will be her grand and great grandsons, Brad Lane, Tyler Hodges, Gary and Clayton Hamilton, Matt Kiser, Bryan Smith, James Looper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church, P.O.Box 647, Douglass, Ks.,67039.
