John A. McCrary

John A. "J.A." "Johnny" McCrary, 82, Andover, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
Viewing 1-8 p.m., with family present from 6-8 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 19; service 1:30 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 20, all at Headley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita.
John was born in Sheridan Township, Daviess County, Mo. on May 12,1927, the son of the late Thomas and Iva Esther (Fosdyck) McCrary.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He started as a punch press operator, was a tool and dye maker, and retired in March of 1989 as a supervisor in research & development from Beech Aircraft.
On Feb. 18, 1954 he married Virginia Louise Dodd in Wichita. She survives.
He is also survived by: sons, John David "J.D." McCrary and wife Charlotte of Augusta and Tony Charles McCrary and wife Trudy of Andover; grandchildren, Sean David McCrary and wife Stephanie SanDiego, Calif., and Joshua Grant McCrary Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth June (Gibson) McCrary; son, John Anthony McCrary Jr. and brothers, Oak, Lee, Dill, Freddie and sister, Daisy.

Jerry Clay Perry, 63, Phoenix, Ariz., passed away, Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 in the Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
Local services are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
