Thomas Wilson

Thomas Robert Wilson, 64, Augusta, retired Ford employee, Army Cpt. and Meade, Kan. Police Chief and Deputy Sheriff, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday Dec 4, at the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery, Winfield. Inurnment to follow.
He was born Nov. 19, 1945 to Robert and Marilyn (Marler) Wilson in Peoria, ILL. Thomas was a very proud military and law enforcement veteran. He loved Nascar and animals, especially his 2 dogs and cat.
Survivors include: sons, Dwayne (Sara) and Michael: daughter, Stephanie (Kevin) Murphy; brother, Steve (Debbie); grandchildren Tanner, Devin and Jace Wilson, and Kollin, Kole and Kaitlyn Murphy; and his close friends and first wife, Cynthia (Gary) Gillett; as well as many other friends and colleagues.
Memorials may be made in Thomas’ name to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.

Raymond D. Althouse

Raymond D. Althouse, 68, retired Beechcraft employee, of Douglass, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at Richland Cemetery, rural Douglass.
He is survived by: his wife, LaDonna (Lehr) Althouse; son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, Terry, Kiffany and Austin Althouse; brother, Richard Althouse;
sister, Sharon Winstead; half-brother, Michael Seward; and half-sister, Patsy Bigger, and numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Althouse; father, Henry Althouse; mother, Myrtle Mae (Althouse) Seward; brothers, Lawrence and Robin Seward.
