John “Jack” Swader,
91, Augusta, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31,2009.
Services are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Richard L. Stephenson

Richard L. Stephenson, 72, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009.
Funeral service was held today at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
Richard grew up in Augusta and graduated from Augusta High School in 1954. He had a distinguished career as an attorney, serving on the United States Court of Appeals 10th Circuit and as a private attorney. He was a United States Navy veteran.
Survivors include: wife, Linda Cox Stephenson; son, Richard W. Stephenson of Overland Park; daughters, Anne Keller of Florida and Tamara January of Hesston; two grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; two nephews.
Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, 67219, and Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 1600 W. 27th N., Wichita, 67204.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.

Ronnie G. Crawford

Ronnie G. Crawford,
68, Seminole, Okla., passed away on Jan. 1, 2010 in Augusta.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at the First Baptist Church in Seminole. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, Little, Okla.
He was born on March 3,1941 in Seminole,
Okla. to Frank Wade Crawford and Frankie Irene (Nall) Crawford.
He was a 1959 Graduate of Seminole High School; he attended Seminole State College and graduated from OSU in 1963. He married Roxana (Conley) Crawford on November 25, 1961 in Okmulgee, Okla.
Ronnie had several jobs starting with Ernst and Ernst CPA on the audit staff in Oklahoma City from 1963-1966, Rockwell International in Pittsburgh, Pa,. El Se-gundo, Calif., he was the finacial manager in accounting policies and systems, Electronic Operations in Anaheim, California, Vice President of finance and treasurer at Sumlock Anita LTD., Uxbridge Middlesex, England, director of finance and operations for 3 years, Power Tool Division in Pittsburgh, Penn where he was a controller for 2 years and Vice President and General Manager of Industrial Tool Division Pittsburg, Pa. for two years and Vice President of finance and administration for Switching Systems Division, Downers Grove, IL. for 2 1/2 years and Lycoming Turbing Engine Divison where he was the chief financial officer in Stratford, CT for 11 years and the chief financial officer for Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas for 3 years. He was also an Independent consultant for Textron, Inc. and the chief financial officer for Tru Circle Corp for two years in Wichita before retiring he was the chairman of the board.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Roxana Crawford of the home;
four daughters and sons-in-law, Kimber-lea “Kim” and Danny Saldana of Towanda, Kan., Kerie Lynn Crawford of Omaha, Neb., Kristie Ann and Clinton Pivarnik of Wichita, Kellie Jean Crawford and Daniel Kesch of Basel, Switzerland; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Jo Crawford of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother-in-law, James Arthur and Beth Conley of Sand Springs. Ark.; sister-in-law, Jerry and Johnny Checotah of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Schreiner of Norman, Okla., Ramona and Terry Kring of Norman, Okla., Joyce Castor of Tomball, Texas, Gail and Steve Bonebreak of Hot Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren, Corey James Crawford, Jessica Lillian Pivarnik, Curtis Wade Pivarnik, Taite Daniel Saldana and Colby Matthew Pivarnik.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Harold, George Robert “G.R.”, James Wade, Donnie Ray and Ronnie’s twin brother Johnnie Crawford; one sister, Leona Scott.
