Phyllis Louise Wallace
Phyllis Louise (Myers) Wallace, 84, homemaker of Galena, Kan., and formerly of Augusta, passed away, Monday, March 8, 2010.
Services are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
Kenneth K. Williams
Kenneth K. Williams, 78, of Augusta, died Monday morning at his home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March
12, at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado. Kenneth was born in Udall, Kan. on Dec. 9, 1931. He graduated from the Udall High School and lived his life in Butler County. He worked 44 years for Raytheon and retired in 1994. After his retirement he loved to use his wonderful carpentry skills buying and fixing houses.
Survivors include: his companion and caregiver, Edith Smith of the home; sons, Claude Couey of Benton, Steve Couey of Hill City and Craig Couey of Towanda; brother, Ramon Williams of Atlanta, Kansas; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Robert D. Burris
Robert D. Burris, 66, Wichita, died on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 12, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born on Nov. 25,1943 in Wichita, the son of Earl and Juanita (Dewing) Burris.
Survivors include: his mother, Juanita Burris of Wichita; brother, Harold Burris of Wichita; sisters, Gertrude Crum of Wichita and Marsha Davis of Augusta
Arrangements by Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Garden Plain.
Jane I. Ullom
Jane I. Ullom, 91, Wichita, USD 259 teacher, died on Monday, March 8, 2010.
Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, with funeral mass at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Wichita.
Survivors include: children, Linda (Tyler) Brewer of Augusta, Steve (Cindy) Ullom of Tahle-quah, Okla., Ruthanne (Bob) Schroeder of Leawood, and Suzi (Pete) Meitzner of Wichita;
12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Kansas City Hospice House,
9221 Ward Parkway, S-100, Kansas City, MO, 64114, and All Saints Catholic School, 3205 Grand, Wichita, 67218.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.
