Billy Eugene McGuire

Billy Eugene McGuire, 49, of Latham, passed away, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation 6-8 p,m. Monday and service 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010,* all at Headley Fu-neral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Latham Cemetery.
Billy was born in Bartlesville, Okla, on April 19,1960, the son of the late Robert Dean and Matty Evelyn (Murphy) McGuire. He served in the U.S. Air Force and 5 worked as a Machinist for Boeing for18 years.
Billy is survived by: his wife, Shelly McGuire; son, Justin McGuire of Latham; daughters,
Jamie Brede and husband Jason of Albuquerque, NM, and Julie McGuire Huff and her fiance David Huff of Wichita; brothers, Jimmy McGuire of Shulte and Robert McGuire of Clearwater; grandchildren, Jacob and Jayden Brede, and Ethan Huff.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McGuire.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

Karla Kay McCoy

Karla Kay McCoy, 52, of Newton, died on March 2,2010.
A memorial service is planned at a later date.
She is survived by: her mother, Helen McCoy and stepfather Earl McCoy of Augusta; brother, Terry (Carla) McCoy of Derby; sisters, Sherry Robbins of Kansas City, Mo. and Kathy (David) Winzer of Grand Coulee, Wash.; five nieces and three nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society at 1400 S.E. Third, Newton, KS 67114.
Arrangements by Cornerstone of Wichita.

Memorial Service for
ED PARKER March 14,^010 Sunday at 3: 00
Service will be held at the American Legion, Post 405 at Santa Fe Lake Road and Kellogg.
Ed served in the U.S. Air Force from Feb. 1943 to Feb. 1946 and again March 1951 to March 1952. Serving in WWII, he flew missions in Europe, Germany and the Philippines.
Ed was a prisoner of war when he was stationed in the Philippines where he earned his Purple Heart.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to American Legion Post 406 Andover, Kansas.

Russell “Bud” Mauk

Russell “Bud” Mauk, 96, retired Boeing flight line mechanic and machinist, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
Visitation will be held and a private graveside service.
