Russell Kenneth Bud” Mauk
Russell Kenneth "Bud" Mauk,
96, Augusta, retired Boeing flight line mechanic, machinist and welder, passed away, Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
Viewing will be held from 1-5 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta. Private family interment.
Russell was born in Hydro, Okla, to Benjamin Franklin and Salina (Dillon) Mauk on Nov. 22, 1913. He was an Augusta High School graduate. Russell married Hazel Marie Cody on March 24, 1934 in El Dorado.
Bud is survived by: his wife Hazel of the home. They were married 12 days short of 76 years; son, Rusty (Kim) Mauk of Pueblo, Colo.; daughters, Patricia Grisham of Omaha, Neb. and Rita Morgan of Augusta; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Kent and Shon; five great-grandchildren,
Alex, Kali, Taylor, Cody and Will.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leo Gibson, Gilbert,
Buell, Vernon and Floyd Mauk; sisters, Thelma Byrd, Hazel Cody and an infant sister, Pearl.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Parsons Community Free Clinic, 1353 25000 Road, Parsons, KS 67357 or in care of the funeral home.

Larry L. Erickson, 55, Augusta, passed away, Monday, March 15,2010.
There will be no services.
Larry was born March 19,1954, the son of the late Charles E. and Bonnie B. (Guffin) Erickson. Larry worked as a machinist for Sigma Tek and owned Larry Erickson Photography.
He is survived by wife Sheryl; son, Jacob; and brother, Scott.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Lucy L. Cranston
Lucy L. Cranston, 100, Winfield, formerly of Augusta, died on
Thursday, March 11,2010.
A graveside service was held Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Becker and her husband, Stanley, and their children and grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Winfield Rest Haven Nursing Home in Winfield.
Arrangements by Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home in Winfield.

Barbara C Peterson, 82, Haysville, retired registered nurse with St. Joseph Medical Center, formerly of Augusta, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Private service.
Survivors include: her sons, John (Gail) Peterson of Haysville and Doug Peterson of Augusta; daughter, Nancy (Bob) Frazier of Haysville; grandchildren, Jarrod Peterson, Jandee Sheffler, Wendy McCoy, Mike and Barry McGuire, and Kerri Shelinbarger; several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband,
Jay Peterson; parents, Charles and Frances Frazier.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society,

Donna Kay Everett, 60, Andover, special education team leader at Jar-dine Middle School Magnet, died on March 10, 2010.
A service was held yesterday at Faith Baptish Church in Andover.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jeanette (Patterson) Burris, and her son, Jeffrey William Everett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or the Kansas Humane Society.
