Phyllis E. Clark

Phyllis Elaine (Lucas) Clark, of Douglass, passed away March 25,
2010.
The funeral service was held Monday at the First Southern
Baptist Church in Augusta. Interment followed at Douglass Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 3, 1941 in Wichita and graduated from Leon High School in 1959. Phyllis worked several years with various local chambers and enjoyed writing poetry. She graduated from Southeastern Missouri State in 1985, Cum Laude, with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Survivors include: her mother, Mildred Lucas; husband of 49 years, Bill Clark; children, Drs. David and Lin Clark, Katherine and Steve Hill, Sherryl and Robert Marshall; grandchildren, Thomas and Sarina Clark, Ashley and Kait-lynn Hill, Brandon and Julia Marshall; siblings, Phillip and Margaret Lucas, Judy and Dennis Sawyer, James and Debbie Lucas, Ted and Pat
Lucas, Sally and Jim Beach; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father,
Philip H. Lucas.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Grace Baptist Fellowship Church, 628 E. Brownie, Rose Hill, 67133.
