Raymond “Bud” Gordon

Raymond “Bud” Evan Gordon, 91, Augusta, formerly of Washington, Kan. died May 6, 2010 .
The funeral service was held today at the Ward Funeral Home in Washington. Burial followed at the Morrowville Cemetery.
Bud served in the Army during WWII. He then worked in Wichita as a semi truck mechanic. He also was a road grader operator and a horse trader.
Surviving him are nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his wives, his first wife, Ruth Fowler and his second wife, Mary Leona Evans; his parents and 11 siblings.
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later time by the family.

Kathryn Maloun

Kathryn D. Maloun, 82, Augusta, formerly of Florence, retired LPN, passed away on May 10, 2010.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, at Pilsen Cemetery, Pilsen.
She is survived by: children, Robert (Nita) Maloun of Oklahoma, Frank (Jean) Maloun, Jr. of Walton, and Betty (Greg) For-phal of Augusta; 9 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Maloun, Sr.; sister, Marie Dowell, and a granddaughter.
Memorial Fund established for Rivercross Hospice in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Marion, KS, 66861.
