Guy F. Dickinson

Guy Franklin Dickinson, 30, of Augusta, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday and service 11 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Cumberland Cemetery, rural Augusta.
Guy was born in Augusta on Aug. 25,1979 to Charles Franklin Dickinson and Patricia Miller.
He was a mechanic who had formerly worked at Augusta Tire and recently worked for Big John's detail shop. Guy also had worked as a cook at the Oak Tree.
He is survived by: son, Royce Bentley Dickinson of Augusta; daughter, Jade Evette Dickinson of Benton; mother, Patti Miller of Augusta; father, Charles Dickinson of Alabama; brother, Ted Dickinson and wife Cassandra of Augusta; grandmother, La Wanda Worthen of Augusta; nephews, Skyler and Alex Dickinson; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society.

Elvin J. Mullin

Elvin James “Curly” Mullin, 66, Lyons, recently retired from ECI Delivery, formerly of Augusta, died on Thursday, May 6,2010.
Graveside service was held today at the Sterling Community Cemetery, Sterling, Kan.
He was born on Feb. 21, 1944 in El Dorado, to Thomas Harlo and Maggie (Doublin) Mullin. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.
He is survived by: longtime companion, Jessie Marlene McDaniels of the home; dog, Jackie; brothers, Thomas Verlin Mullin of Augusta, Rus-
sell Mullin of Towanda, Lloyd Mullin, Harley Mullin, and Gayle Mullin, all of Wichita; sisters, Joyce Fletcher and Leota Weast, both of Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy Whisman; infant brother, Melvin Mullin; step mother, Dorothy Mullin.
Memorials may go to the Shriners Hospital in care of Birzer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 89, Lyons, KS 67554.
