Phillips, Augusta passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Viewing and refreshments 5-8 p.m. this evening, and service 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, ]] both at New Life Tabernacle, Augusta. Graveside service 3 p.m. Wednesday at Nowata Cemetery, Nowata, Okla.
Jerry was born in Nowata, Okla, on July 19, 1938, the son of the late Roy Oscar Phillips and Mildred (Hudson) Cobb.
He is survived by sons, David Phillips of Goddard, Darrell Phillips of Augusta, and Troy Phillips and wife Nellie of Augusta; daughter, Terri Phillips of Russellville, Mo.; step-son, Jerry Dale Berryman of Oologah, Okla.; sisters, Mary Mer-rell of Oologah, Okla, and Grace Ann Phillips of Nowata, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by brother, Leroy Phillips.
Family suggests donations to Amedisys Hospice 250 W. Douglas Suite 101 Wichita, KS 67202.

Allen Guyot

Allen Guyot, 53, Douglass, owner of Allen's Hair Care, died Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Viewing from 2 - 8 p.m., Thursday, with family present 6-8 p.m., at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, Douglass. Service at 10 a.m., Friday, May 7, at Douglass United Methodist Church.
Survivors: son, Aaron (Shelly) Guyot; daughter Alanna (Ryan) Davis; one grandchild, Hadlee Davis, all of Douglass; mother, Lila Guyot; brother, Joel (Beverly) Guyot; two nephews, all of Derby.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph L. Guyot.

Lucille D. Vaughn

Lucille D. Vaughn, 73, Douglass, homemaker, died on Thursday, April 29, 2010.
Graveside service was held on Monday at the Douglass Cemetery.
She was survived by: sons, Randy and Jim; daughters, Doni, Robi and Tracy; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Doc.”
