Rose Jean Daniels
Rose Jean (Smith) Daniels, 73, Andover, retired from Koch Ind. after 43 years, lost her 5 year battle with cancer on April 26, 2010.
Memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, at Brookhaven Baptist Church , 15200 E Central, Wichita, KS 67230.
Rose was born in Kansas City , Kan. and moved to Andover in 1972.
Survivors include: husband of 51 years, Theodore E. Daniels; brother, Walter D. Smith; daughters, Tina Marie Kelley (Dale Kern), Andover and Rebecca Sue (Terry) Maddox, Andover; grandchildren, Brianne Kelley (Rob Hankins), Augusta, April Thatcher, Augusta, Casey (Bri) Gobel, Augusta, Cody Gobel, Wichita, Logan Kelley, Andover, Taylor Kelley, Andover, Aaron Maddox, Andover; great-grandchildren Leah, Lindy, Emma, Jarin, Ava and Cord.
Preceded in death by her sister Betty E (Smith) Pearce.

Patricia Anne Robinson
Patricia “Pat” Robinson, 86, Wichita, formerly of Long-| mont, Colo, and Augusta, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
Pat was born in Oil Hill, Kan. on April 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Harry H. and Nina Starr (Money) Jones. On Sept. 24,1941 she married Stanley Robinson in Wichita, who has preceded her in death. A daughter, Kay Lyn Robinson, also preceded her in death. Following Kay’s death Pat became an activist for victims of violent crimes. In 1981 she launched the Colorado chapter of Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) and served on the national board. Pat was appointed by Gov.
Bill Owens to serve on the Colorado Victims Assistance and Law Enforcement Board.
She also served on Compensation Board and the Colorado Office of Victims Assistance Board for the 20th Judicial District.
She expanded her volunteer efforts by speaking to inmates in state and Federal prisons in Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, Nevada, Nebraska, and Arizona. Pat has lectured on Restorative Justice and has been honored with numerous community awards for her efforts.
She is survived by: daughters, Sue Jones and husband Ray of Augusta,
and Jan Colvin and husband Bob of Wichita; sister, Carolyn Malthesen and husband Dick of Federal Way, Wash.; grandchildren, Katie Jones, Bryce Jones (Kerri), Amy Nix (Jim), Jeremy Colvin (Brenda); great-grandchildren, Ruby, Kai and Zeke Jones, Spencer, Mason and Sophia Nix, Charlie and Willie Colvin.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 30 at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at the First Christian Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
The family suggests donations to the First Christian Church, 1600 State Street, Augusta, KS 67010.
