Frederick W. Reschke

Frederick W. Reschke, 72, went to be with the Lord on May 15,2010 in Hammond, Wis.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 21, Hillside Funeral Home East, Wichita; service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at Rose Hill United Methodist Church, 19551 SW Butler Rd., Rose Hill.
Survivors: wife, Judy; son, Dale (Patti) Reschke, all of Hudson, Wis.; brother, Merle (Mary) Reschke; sisters, Jane Ward, Donna Johnson, all of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Heather (Walt) Williams, Robin (Toby) Faulkner; five greatgrandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Kathryn I. Boren

Kathryn Irene Boren, 89, of Augusta, passed away on Friday,
May 14, 2010, at Lake-point of Augusta.
A graveside funeral was held this afternoon at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Kathryn was born to Alfred Mark and Essie Mildred (Stephenson) Atkisson on Jan. 4,1921 in Xenia, Kan.
On Nov. 15,1941, she married James Harold Boren in El Dorado. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed everything going on around her. Kathryn worked for Boeing during WWII, riding a bus to work every day while James served in the military. She was a long time employee of the Style Shop in downtown Augusta. Kathryn and James had one son, Terry of Augusta.
She leaves to mourn her passing: Terry ■ (Debby) Boren of Augusta; grandson, Nathan and granddaughter, Amanda (Matt) Brazell, all of Augusta.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, James and a sister, Dorothy Raymond.
A memorial has been established with the St. James Catholic Church building fund in care of the funeral home.
