Clara Olive Goodknight
Clara Olive (Cassity) Goodknight, 90, of Augusta, passed away, Saturday,
June 5, 20100.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and service 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery.
Clara was born in Chelsea, Okla, on March 13,1920, the daughter of the late Claud S. and Cornelia B. (Young) Casstiy. She was a retired cook for the Augusta schools.
On April 14,1937 she married Carl L. Goodknight in Dewey, Okla, and he preceded her in death in April of 1987. She was also preceded in death by a son, John; brothers, Roy, John and Clint Cassity; and sisters,
Rose Thomison, Lucy Holeman and Betty Moeller.
She is survived by: son, G. Leroy Goodknight and wife Kay of Wichita; daughter, Carol J. Weirich and husband Les of Augusta; grandchildren, Crystal Faris (Tommy), Jacque Stouf-fer (Bert), Angela Rothrock, Deirdre Matchette, Michelle Stephens (Brad) and Tiffany Voran (TJ); greatgrandchildren, Naphtali, Erik, Lindsay, Thomas, Lucas, McKenzie, Will, Jake, Logan, and Cali; great-great grandchild, Liam; sister, Lorene Moss of Wichita; brother-in-laws, Vic Goodknight and wife Betty of Tulsa, Okla.; Orlie Fairchild; sister-in-law, Opal Goodknight of Fairview, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Augusta Nazarene Church.

Lauren T. Daniels

Lauren T. Daniels, 85, Portland, Ore., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, June 5, 2010.
Memorial service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, at Hinson Church in Portland, Ore.
Lauren was born in Sand Creek, Mich, on April 29,1925. He served during World War II in the US Army and married Sharon Arends on Jan. 15,1950. He retired as a property manager in 1997.
Survivors include: sons,Terry of Portland, Mark of Tualatin, Steve and wife Paula of Beaverton; daughter, Sandi and husband Roger of Augusta; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Cameron of San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Preceded by parents, Walter and Letha Daniels; wife Sharon Daniels of 55 years and infant son.
