Dale L. McDaniel

Dale L. McDaniel, 69, of Augusta, passed away, Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
Visitation 1-3 p.m. Sunday and service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Dale was born in Eureka, Kan. on July 19, 1940, the son of the late Dennis Ray and Erma Louise (Peebles) McDaniel. He retired as a sheet metal mechanic from Boeing in 1996. On Aug. 18,1973 he married Carol (Lewis) in Augusta and she survives.
He is also survived by: sons, Dale Andrew McDaniel and wife Robin of Douglass, and Matthew McDaniel and wife Shelly of Augusta; daughter, Pamela Aikman and husband Wayne of Andover; sisters, Ramona Rowland and husband Bill of Inter-lachen, Fla, and Martha Belt and husband George of Council Grove; brothers, Paul McDaniel and wife Debbie of Inter-lachen, Fla., and Marvin McDaniel and wife Debbie of El Dorado; grandchildren, Rachel McDaniel, Paige McDaniel, Elizabeth Aikman, Isabella Aikman, Jimmy Mills and Jennifer Mills; and a great-grandson, Avery Winchell.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Alex, Jacob and Tony Younker; sisters, Lidwina Kreutzer, Bertha Kress, Corona Waldschmidt, Clara Holmes, Linda Schoendaller, and Teckla Sander.

Mary Margaret Stapleton

Mary Margaret “Maggie” Stapleton, 73, Medford, Okla., died on Saturday, June 5, 2010.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, at the Bible Baptist Church. She was cremated at her request with Marshall Funeral Home in Alva, Okla.
Maggie is survived by: daughters, Nikki SalisBerger of Oklahoma City, Casey Canaan (Willie) of Alva, and Miechelle Stapleton of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Kenneth Jennings of Hutchinson and Roger Jennings (Vicki) of California; sister, Shirley Towse (Lyle) of Ponca City; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Paul and Leone Hazel (Pagen) Jennings and sister, Doris Johnson.

Mark Murphy
Mark Murphy, | 50, of Augusta, store manager at Dillons in El Dorado, Murphy passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 11 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta and service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Haverhill Christian Church, Haverhill. Graveside service 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Larned Cemetery.
Mark was born in Larned on Jan. 26, 1960, the son of Robert Owen and Janice LaVonne (Ashworth) Murphy. He graduated from Larned High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. On Nov. 22, 1986 he married Malissa (Flax) in Wright, Kan. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by: son, Brett Murphy and fiance Miranda Gardner of Belle Plaine; daughter, Brittany Murphy of Belle Plaine;
brothers, Steven Murphy and wife Lynda of Larned and Jeffery Murphy and wife Fay of Garfield; sister, Linda Fox and husband Rocky of Pratt; grandmother, Velda Ashworth of Larned; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Treva A. Beaty

Treva Aline Beaty, 85, died on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Regency House in San Angelo, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. this evening at Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kan. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, at Zimmerman Funeral Home with burial following at Grace Lawn Cemetery.
She is survived by: daughter, Diana and husband Cary Moss of San Angelo, Texas; son, Tim and wife Nancy Beaty of Chesapeake, Va.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
