Dorothy L. Cavit

Dorothy L. Cavit, 84, Campbell, Calif., passed away on June 7^2010.
An open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m, on Sunday, June 13, at the family home. Graveside service and burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery on July 19.
Dorothy, daughter of Arley and Emma McFarland was born July 30, 1925 near Haverhill and grew up working on the family farm. Dorothy attended Haverhill Grade School and graduated from Leon High School in 1943. During WWII Dorothy worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, then joined the Army Cadet Nursing Corp earning her Registered Nursing degree. Dorothy fell in love with an Air Force pilot, Deane Cavit, when he returned to Leon after being a POW in Romania. They married and moved around the country before settling in Porterville, Calif, where they owned a ranch and she worked as a nurse. In 1965 they moved to Campbell, where their children, Dennis, Duane, Doug and Debbie, all graduated from high school.
Dorothy was devoted t her family and took gre pride in the accompli?
ments of her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by: Deane, her loving husband of 62 years; sons, Dennis (Erin) of Lake City, Colo., Duane (Martha) of Corvallis, Ore., and Douglas (Patricia) of Arlington, Wash.; daughter, Debra Vega (Ron) of Los Gatos, Calif.; 9 grandchildren; 6 greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews who adored Aunt Dorothy; and dear friends and neighbors around the country.
The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to Palo Alto VA Fisher House 3801 Miranda Ave Palo Alto, CA 94304, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills, Los Gatos, Calif.

Keith L.,Spencer, 77, Wichita, passed away June 6, 2010.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 12, at
Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita.
He is survived by: his wife, Gloria; sons, Michael (Pat) Spencer of Wichita, Christopher (JoAnn) Spencer of St. Marys, Ga., Robert (Karen) Spencer of Andover; daughter, Brenda (Chuck) Hess of Wichita; sister, Judith Krichbaum of Youngstown, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Linda M. Nelson

Linda M. (Fuller) Nelson, 62, of Andover, passed away June 10, 2010.
Her wishes were for cremation and private family services only.
Preceded in death by her father, Charles Fuller.
Survivors: husband,
John Perkins of the home; daughter, Kelli and grandson, Chris of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Nancy Guzman (David) of Sacramento, Calif.; mother, Pauline (Fuller) Martens of El Dorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be sent to Butler County Community College.
