Kathy Sue King
Kathy Sue (Hasting) King, 57, Augusta, Cessna sheet metal employee passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 1; funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, both at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Kathy was born July 26,1952, in El Dorado to Harold LeRoy and Wanda June (Maddox) Hasting. She grew up in Augusta and attended Augusta schools. Kathy married Thomas John King on July 4,1992, in El Dorado.
Survivors include: her husband, Tom of the home; son, Tommy D. Osborn, Jr., Augusta; daughters, Terina Espinoza, Wichita, Jeri Brown, Augusta, and Stacey Hill, Wichita;
step-sons, Homer King, Augusta and Virgil East-ham, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Juanita Newberry, Leon, Mary Eastham, Augusta; brothers, Mike (Ann) Hasting, Oklahoma, Raymond (Connie) and Larry (Karen) Hasting both of El Dorado; sister, Laura (Danny) Mohler, Drexel, Missouri; 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Gaylord and Tina Hasting in infancy, sister, Wanda Lynn Ramsey, and a niece, Amy Mohler.
The family wishes to express special gratitude to Kathy and Patti of the former Odyssey Hospice now Hospice Care of Kansas.
A memorial has been established for Kathy King in care of the funeral home.
