Deaths
Marjorie Little
Marjorie Nell Little, age 95, homemaker, of Douglass, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010. Visitation 1-8 p.m. with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Douglass United Methodist Church.
Survivors: son, Martin (Connie) Little of Augusta; daughter-in-law, Janet Little of Latham; 7 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and 2 great-great-grand-chil-dren.
Marjorie is preceded in death by: her husband, Robert; sons, Ronnie and Alan; parents, Hugh and Ida Griffith; and her five siblings.
Memorials have been established with Douglass United Methodist Church and/or Douglass Public Library.

Mary Woosley
Mary Elaine (Hunting-ton) Woosley, 67, of Augusta, passed away suddenly at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, on Tuesday, Aug. 31,
2010.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening; the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, both at the funeral home. Internment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at the Graceland Cemetery in Creston,
Iowa.
Mary was born to James and Pauline (Wes-sels) Huntington on Nov. 13,1942 in Maryville, Mo. On Dec. 8,1976 she married Melvin Woosley in Lenox, Iowa. Mary worked with her mother in the health field and after graduating from high school studied and obtained her nursing degree. She worked for many years as a nurse. She later moved to Augusta where she worked as a clerk at the local Walmart and also spending a lot of time enjoying her daughter and family.
She was preceded her in death by her parents, James and Pauline, and her husband, Melvin.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Nina (Jim) Barton of Augusta; two grandchil- Mary will be greatly dren Jacob Barton and missed by her family and Austin (Caitlyn) Barton friends, all of Augusta; and one Arrangements by great-granddaughter, Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Emma Home, Augusta.
