Bobby Joe Simmons
Bobby Joe Simmons, 65, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Sept.
14,2010.
Memo- Simmons rial service 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept.18, 2010, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Bobby was born in Woodward, Okla, on Dec. 25,1944, the son of the late Larry Edward and Olive Arvella (Fausauer) Simmons. He retired as a sheet metal supervisor for Boeing and Cessna. Bobby was an active member of the Augusta Senior Center, where he served on the executive board, Air Capital Eagles Shrine Club, and the Midian Shrine Temple. On June 22,1974 he married Carol Sevall in Wichita and she survives.
He is also survived by: son, Wade Hoagboon and wife Janeatte of Maize; daughters, Sondra Lehr and husband Chuck of Orlando, Fla., Sherry Sevall of Calif., Shelly Rouse and husband Phillip of Augusta, Kelly Robertson of Wichita, DeeDee Boyer and husband Rob of Haysville; brother, Harold Simmons of Wichita; sisters, Opal Hettinger of Wichita and Shirley Schmidt of Tacoma, Wash; 9 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Edward Simmons Jr. and Raymond Simmons.
Memorials to the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy.

Steven Earl Ellis
Steven Earl Ellis, 59, system analyst, passed away on July 28, 2010, at his home Ellis in Oceanside, Calif., following a long illness.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25,2010, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Interment will follow at the Douglass Cemetery.
He was born in Wichita and graduated from East High School in 1968, and Friends University in 1974. He left Kansas in 1989 for a job opportunity in Las Vegas. In 1995, he moved to San Diego and in 2005, he moved to Oceanside, Calif.
His survivors include: wife, Kathleen Sullivan Ellis, originally from Douglass and was married to Steven in 1973; and he is also survived by his brother, James Ellis of Wichita.
Ella Bell Miller
Ella Bell Miller, 92, of Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010.
Arrangements are pending with Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
