Rolly D. Boucher
Rolly Dean Boueher, 80, Wichita, retired plant manager for Union Tank Car Boucher and formerly of Augusta, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at his home.
A celebration party will be held in his honor from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday,
Oct. 30, at
Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta. Private family inurnment.
Rolly was born April 6, 1930 in Peck, Kan. to Geoffrey Greggory and Ruby Evangeline Boone Boucher. He was a 1948, graduate of Augusta High School and worked at Leben's Jewelry Store (his brother-in-law's store) until 1950. Rolly married Louise Anglin on March 23,1951 in Wichita. He retired from the United States National Guard as a First Lieutenant. Rolly also raised, boarded and trained bird dogs at the Willow Creek Kennel that he owned and operated. Rolly and Louise also enjoyed their retirement years in Sun City of Georgetown, Texas. Survivors include: his wife, Louise of the home; sons, Gregory (Leann) Boucher and Clay (Michelle) Boucher, all of Augusta; daughter, Teresa (Chuck) Burr of Austin, Texas; brother,
Milford (Jimmy Lou) Boucher of Latham; sister, Aileen Leben of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Zachary, Bevan and Cassie Boucher, and Bailee and Spencer Burr; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Elliott, an infant brother and granddaughter, Erica Smith.
Memorials have been established with the Gene Nusz Wrestling Scholarship Fund at the Augusta High School in care of the funeral home.

Friends may sign Donna’s book from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, Wichita. Service at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at Dawson United Methodist Church, 2741 Laura, Wichita.
Her husband, Carl, precedes her in death.
Survivors include: her son, Ed Baker and his wife Danette of Wichita; daughter, Carla Sue Thompson of Augusta; grandchildren, Jennie, Angie and Sammie Thompson.
Memorials to Interfaith Ministries.
