Alice Legleiter

Alice (Dechant) Legleiter, 98, retired Augusta Hospital Food Service employee passed away, Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at Andover Court Assisted Living.
Viewing will be from 1-7 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 4, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Interment at 1:30 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 North Maize ^Road in Wichita.
Alice was born June 16, 1912 in Antonino, Kan. to Joseph and Anna (Speier) Dechant. She married Wendlin Legleiter on May 26, 1931 in Liebenthal, Kan.
Survivors include: her son, LaVern and his wife Joyce Legleiter of Independence, Kan; brother, Walter Dechant of Hays; sisters. Stella VonFeldt of Denver, Colo, and Mabel Riedel of Hays; four grandchildren, Debra Lutz, Lonnie Legleiter, Tina Monier and Lea Paine; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Everett A. DIllon

Everett Alfred Dillon, 88, of Viola, WWII Army veteran and retired USD 259 teacher, died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010.
Service was held on Monday at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Garden Plain. Intere-ment was in Calvary Cemetery, Garden Plain.
Survivors include: son, Frank (Susan) Dillon of Viola; daughter, Betty Jo (Edward) Jennings of Douglass; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
