Deloris Boothe
Deloris ElleaJ3oothe, 71, Wichita, passed away on Saturday, Nov.*27 2010.
Rosary service will be 7 p.m., this evening and memorial mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec.l 2010, both at Church Of The Magdalen, Wichita.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie (Craig) Korol, of Andover, Stacey Boothe (Erick Crowdus), of Wichita; Shea Boothe, of Dallas, Texas, and Sandy (Daryl) Futhey, of Rose Hill; brother, Jerry Schmitz, of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Sue Opie, of Wichita, Rose (Jim) O'Donnell, of Wichita, Judith Fertitta (Peter Orton), of Hillsborough, N.C.;eight grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Botan-ica, The Wichita Gardens, 701 North Amidon, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
Arrangements by Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.
Veda Balzer
Veda Mae Balzer, 80, of Potwin, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24,
2010.
Funeral service was held last Saturday at the Potwin Christian Church.
She was preceded by her husband Howard : Balzer.
She is survived by children: LaVonne(Charlie) Baker and Jo (Dave) Denny all of Potwin, Sarah Balzer and Milton (Jenny) Balzer all of Wichita, and Morey (Lori) Balzer of Belle Plaine; siblings: Lloyd Moore of Augusta and Ruth Turner of Bonita Springs, Fla.;12 grandchildren.
Memorials to the Potwin Christian Church or Wheat State Manor.
Arrangements by Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater.
Joseph Piro
Joseph Piro of Peoria, Ariz., died on Friday, Nov. 26,2010.
Funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, in Sun City, Ariz.
He is survived by wife, Dale Anne (Thompson) Piro, formerly of Augusta
Ronnie Bryan
Ronnie Bryan, 66, Clay Center, formerly of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at Neill-Schwensen-Rock Funeral Home in Clay Center. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church, Clay Center. Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Ronnie was born Jan. 8,1944, the son of Keck and Erma (Lipscomb) Bryan. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1962. He married Karen Williams and she survives. He was employed at Koch-Glitsch LP in Wichita for 21 years. He then went to work for the Department of Butler County Aging in Augusta and moved to Clay Center in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Connie.
Survivors: wife, Karen of the home; son, Todd Bryan of Coeur-d-Alene, Idaho; mother, Erma Bryan of Augusta; granddaughter, Kailah Bryan of Kenmore, Wash.
Memorials may go to Ronnie Bryan Memorial Fund c/o Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, 918 Seventh, Clay Center, KS 67432.
