Edith Austin

Edith "Valetta" Austin, 62, of El Dorado, former co-owner of Buffalo Corner convenience store in Whitewater, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1,
2011.
Visitatation will be from 1-8 p.m. with the family present from 6 - 8 p.m. today, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Palmyra Baptist Church, rural Whitewater. Interment in the McGill Cemetery, Potwin.
Survivors: mother, Lois Valetta Moore of Rosalia; siblings, Alan and wife Kathy Moore of Rosalia, Ava and husband Don Wedel of Rosalia, Annette and husband Larry Sneary of Cottonwood Falls, and Tom and wife Faye Moore of Cas-soday; her sons, Heath and wife Michal Austin of Potwin, and Mike and wife Trade Austin of Augusta; and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Alva Moore.
