Leo L. Kunkel

Leo L. Kunkel, 93, Augusta, passed away Tues-J day, Feb. 15,2011.
Visitation from 6-8 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19,2011 at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Graveside 2:30 p.m. at Yates Center Cemetery.
Leo was born in Haver, Mont, on Sept. 7,1917 to the late Frank and Isabelle (Butler) Kunkel.
He worked as a welder for Santa Fe Railway. On April 13,1939 he married Freda Sturdivan and she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by: son, Keith; siblings, Frank, Henry, Hazel, Johnny, Lawrence, Loren, Howard and Mildred; and one great-great grandchild, Hayden Pi-lant.
He is survived by: son, Gary Kunkel and wife Linda of Augusta; daughter, Sharon Andrews of Wichita; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorials to St. James Catholic Church.

Clarabel Hargrove

Clarabel Hargrove, 88, of Bella Vista, Ark. died Wednesday, Feb. 2,2011.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb.19, at Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancaster Blvd. in Bella Vista, Ark.
She was born on March 29,1922 in Morrowville, Kan. to Floyd Lindsley and Alta Clark Lindsley.
She and her husband Ben moved from Kansas to Bella Vista many years ago. She loved spending time with her family, was a seamstress, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Hargrove; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by: son, Del Hargrove of Derby,; two daughters, Gerry Lackey of Bella Vista, Ark., and Rebecca Hargrove of Augusta; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72714.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista, Ark.

Patricia A. Bevan

Patricia A. Bevan, age 76, Wichita, passed away Monday, Feb. 14,2011.
Visitation held from 3-8 p.m., today and 1-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb.
17, at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary in Wichita. Family dinner will be held at noon on Friday, 18, at the Peabody Christian Church. The graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Vernon Tannahill and Lena Lago; brother, Jerry Lago; daughter, Susie Pogue.
Survived by: husband Lyal Bevan; sons, Anthony Konert of Iowa, David Konert and Mike Konert, both from Wichita; daughter, Mindy Konert, of Missouri.; brothers, Donald Tannahill, Olathe, Billy Lago, Calif., and Larry Lago, Augusta; sisters, Jean Heggamire, Texas, Ginger Bevan of Leon, Sue Shoal, SD, Rita Jo Voss; Nev.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be sent to Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita.

Mary Lou Russell

Mary Lou Russell, 84, El Dorado, homemaker died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011.
Services 2 p.m. Thursday, at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Survivors include: one son, Mike and wife Nancy Russell of Andover.
Preceded in death by husband, Howard, and son, Steven Russell.
Memorials to Butler Community College.

Shirley Bowman

Shirley Bowman, 71, of Augusta, died on Tuesday, Feb. 15,2011.
Service arrangements are pending with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
