Carl B. Lesley

Carl B. Lesley, 69, of Augusta, passed away Friday, March 4,2011.
No visitation.
Graveside service 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 9,2011 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Carl was born in Fulton, Miss, on March 15, 1941, the son of the late Jeffie Andrew and Jessie Floy (Ray) Lesley.
He was also preceded in death by siblings, Jim, Christine, Bill, Tommie, Alice and Gary.
Carl worked as a spin lathe operator at Beech Aircraft. On Feb. 7,1975 he married Vera (Rolf) in Wichita and she survives.
He is also survived by: sons, David of Derby and Chris of Lake Charles,
La.; daughters, Judy Ford of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jackie Hiatt of Clearwater; Jennifer Wolke of Rose Hill, and Sara McIntyre of Wichita; step daughters, Paulette Ferko of Shavertown, Pa. and Wendy Steuber of Wichita; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorials to the Victory In The Valley or Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta.

Zella I. Baysinger

Zella I. Baysinger, 90, of Madison, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011.
Funeral service was held on Monday, March 7. Interment followed at Blakely Cemetery at Madiosn.
Survivors include: daughters, Barbara Mudd of Wellington, Sharon Purvis of Manhattan, Marilyn Gugler of Emporia and Bonnie Funk of Greeley, Colo.; sister, Vivian Stafford of Andover; brothers, Howard Martin of Dumas, Texas and Clyde Martin of El Dorado; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Home, P.O. Box 488, Madison, KS 66860.
