Marilyn R. White

Marilyn R. White, 82, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Funeral service was held Monday at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home in Topeka, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Marilyn was born on June 29,1928, the daughter of Ralph S. and Gladys M. (Mordica) Cloyes in El Dorado. She graduated from high school in 1946 in Madison, Kan. She attended Emporia State University, where she met her husband of almost 62 years. She married William J. “Bill” White on June 6, 1948 in Madison. In 1956 they moved to Topeka for Bill’s employment with Prudential Life Insurance Co. Marilyn was a realtor for almost 20 years, the most recent working for ReMax Associates.
Survivors include: daughter, Debra Kemp, Candler, NC; grandsons, Jason William Spencer, San Diego, Calif., Jeffrey Richard Spencer (Jennifer Lynn), Topeka, Robert “Buddy” Morris Kemp IV, Chandler, NC; great-granddaughter, Lillian Faith Spencer, Topeka; great-grandson, A’Jshon Morris, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, David; brother, Bill Cloyes.

and Daniel Ryno; siblings, AJ Bozarth, Ernestine Turner and Alta Bowman; two grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents, Amos and Phyllis "Cole" Bozarth, and brother, Johnny.

Darlene Lytle

Darlene Lytle, 82, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, March 6,2011.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta.
Darlene was born in Polk, Neb. on Jan. 10, 1929, the daughter of the late Ollie and Myrtle (Fredrickson) Johnson. She was a homemaker.
On Aug. 24,1949 she married Charles Lytle. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by: brother, De-rald Johnson and sons, Thomas and Peter.
She is survived by: son, Dr. Michael Lytle and wife Sarah of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Virginia Lytle of Augusta; grandchildren, Nicholas and Kelly McClure, Ben and Meaghan McClure, Lucas and Megan McClure, Casey, Charles and Lea Lytle; great- grandchildren, Dylan, Kaden and Elynn McClure.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Augusta Public Library or the First United Methodist Church, Augusta. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association do Heritage Funeral Home, Andover.

Lillian Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Lohman

Lillian Dorothy "Dottie" Lohman, 89, of Augusta, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011.
Visitation 6-8 p.m .Wednesday, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta, and 4-8 p.m. Friday at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, ILL. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12,2011 at Kassly Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville, ILL.
Lillian was born in St Louis, Mo. on Jan. 22, 1922, the daughter of the o, late Harry Davis and Margaret (Evans) Arlt. She was a self-employed beautician and later worked at Augusta Medical Complex until retiring in 1985. On April 14, 1947 she married Bobby Bernard Lohman and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by daughters, Robin Lohman and Marjorie Johnson; brothers, Herb and Jim Arlt; and her adopted father, Bert Arlt;
She is survived by: son, Robert Lohman and wife Lenita of Augusta; sister-in-law, Rosemary Arlt of Belleville, ILL.; grandchildren, Brandon and Brice Lohman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
