Rita Sapp
Rita M. Sapp, 85, of Augusta and formerly of Coffeyville, passed away Wednesday, April 6,2011.
Viewing 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, at First Southern Baptist Church, Coffeyville. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Rita was born in Jefferson City, Mo., on Feb. 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Sterling Price and Helen Lorraine (Templeton) Green. On June 4,1944 she married Edwin R. Sapp, in Harts-burg, Mo. and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Sterling and Ralph Green; sister, Geraldine Sappington; and half brother, Ernest Green.
She is survived by: children, Ed Sapp, Jr. of Wichita, Janet Hunter of Augusta, Helen Blake of Kingfisher, Okla., David Sapp of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lynn Sapp of Dallas, Texas; sister, Merilyn Gholson of Fulton, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
Memorials to the Arthritis Foundation or Good Shepherd Hospice.

Rosary 7 p.m. Friday and Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9,2011, both at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will be at Douglass Cemetery.
Lynda was born in Wichita on Jan. 4,1954, the daughter of the late Henry Carlton Chinn, Sr. and Belva "Jean" (Pfeil). She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in the Douglass area as a rural mail carrier. On Dec.
13,1974, she married Craig McClure in Augusta and he survives.
She is also survived by: daughters, Ann Heise and husband John of Wichita, Sara McClure of Douglass, Mary Wetta and husband Luke of Wichita, Allison McClure of Wichita, and McKenzie McClure of Douglass; brothers, Henry Chinn, Jr. and Mike Chinn both of Augusta; sisters, Carla Purdy and Terri Chinn both of Augusta; grandchildren, Hayden, Lan-don and Madeline Heise; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog Howard.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Kansas Humane Society.
