Betty Sullivan
Betty J. Sullivan, 78, of Augusta, domestic engineer, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
Visita-

tion 4-8 p.m., with fam-^ ily present to greet . friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, and service 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow in Elm-wood Cemetery, Augusta.
Betty was born in Wichita on Jan. 4,1933, the daughter of the late Ben and Lena (Alberts) Rucker. On May 28,1954 she married Micheal J. Sullivan and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by brothers, Bill and Frank
Rucker; and sisters, Henrietta Smallwood and Flora Carter.
She is survived by: son, Micheal Sullivan, Jr. and wife Beverly of Augusta; daughter, Patricia Corey and husband Kent of Haysville; brothers, John and Ed Rucker of Wichita; sister, Florence Mayginnes of Andover; grandsons, Kent Corey, Jr. and Josh Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Headley Funeral Chapel is incharge of arrangements.



Earl Cartmell, Sr.

Earl Cartmell, Sr. 66, of El Dorado died Monday April 25, 2010.
Visitation with family present, 5-6 p.m. on Sunday; the Celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m. Monday, both at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado. Burial will follow the services in the Latham Cemetery.
Earl was born Dec. 23, 1944 in Latham, the son of Curtis and Retha Rouse Cartmell. He grew up in Latham and El Dorado. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved to hunt and fish.
Surviving family includes: sons, Coy (Terry) Cartmell Towanda, Vincent (Kristina) Cartmell of Augusta, Rome Cartmell, El Dorado; daughters,
Carmilita Cartmell, Conway, Ark., Jolene (Loren) Keating, El Dorado, Rachael (Pete) Folks of Wichita; brothers, Frank of El Dorado, Gary and Jim ,both of California; 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, six sisters and a grandson, David.

Michael Densmore

Michael Densmore, 51, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, April 26,2011.
Visiation with family present, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday; funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, both at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Interment will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
Michael was born on Jan. 20,1960 in Attica, Kan., the son of Donald LeRoy and Anna M. (Edwards) Densmore. He had attended the El Dorado Schools for a number of years, and graduated from Scandia, Kansas High School. He had worked in construction and was a mechanic at Boeing. Michael loved to fish, hunt, build rockets, play cards, and loved to eat sea foods.
Those who survive include: daughters, Leila (Patrick) Waters, El Dorado, and Amelia (Jeremy) Pratt, Texas; his mother, Anna Densmore, Andover; a, Diane Densmore,Wichita; a brother, Jay Densmore, Douglass; one grandson, Gauge Waters; and his father, Donald L. Densmore, Lake Elsinore, Calif.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be used to defray funeral expenses. These may be left with Carlson Funeral, El Dorado.
