Judith Kontur-Sperling

Judith Kontur-Sperling, 64, St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Augusta, died on Friday, June 17, 2011.
Graveside service for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Judy is survived by: children, Jeffrey Kontur of Newark, Del., Jerry Kontur of St. Louis,Mo., Jennifer Coleman of Belleville, Ontario, Canada, and Janice Kontur of Augusta; brother, Glen of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Joanne Verderico of Tallmadge, Ohio, Gail Payne of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Janet Clark of San Francisco, Calif.; cousin, Bill Weiss of Eagle River, Ark.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by husband, Warren Sperling.

Eldon O. Marshall

Eldon 0. Marshall, 61, Leon, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 3,2011.
Visitation with family present 6 - 7:30 p.m. this evening, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado; services at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow funeral in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1949 in El Dorado, the son of Bruce and Helen Derstein Marshall. He graduated from El Dorado High School and spent six years from 1969 to 1976 in the Army Reserves. He married Debbie Osborne in El Dorado and she survives.
Other survivors include: son, Jay Marshall, Leon; daughters and their husbands, Carmen and Ben Blaisdell, Everett Wash., Sarah and Joshua Griffith, Ft. Eustis, Va.; brother, El-wood Marshall and wife Cindy, Haysville; grandchildren Courtnie, Devin, Gavin, Evin, Alexis; and two great-grandchildren Austin and Karstyn; nieces, Stacie and Darcie and nephew, Brett; sister-in-law, Renae (Kevin) Anderson, McPherson; brothers-in-law, Bruce (Holly) Osborne, Enum-claw, Wash., and Mike Osborne, Wichita.
Memorials to his memory for the Leon Fire Department may be left with Carlson Funeral Home.
