Virginia "Ginny"Trebbe

Virginia L. (Weaver) Trebbe "Ginny," 92, of Augusta, passed away, Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. this evening and service 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, July 27, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta.
Ginny was born in Brown Town, Kan. on March 17,1919, the daughter of the late Dyke and Beulah (Koons) Weaver. She worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" for Boeing during WWII and then at Beech Aircraft. Ginny then worked as a clerk at A. Brown Liquor for 45 years. On Sept. 4,1936 she married Glenn Trebbe in Wichita and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by son, Don Trebbe, brother, Robert Weaver and a great grandchild, Kett Trebbe.
She is survived by: son, Darrel Trebbe and wife Sandra of Augusta; daughter-in-law, Val Nickel of Wichita; sister-in-law, Jean Weaver of Dou-
glass; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
