Robert “Mike” Crowley, 64, of Atlanta, Kan., died on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011.
Visitation with family will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening; funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, both at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Atlanta.
Survivors include: wife, Charlotte Bruce of Atlanta; children, Gayle Reiswig (Tim) of El Dorado, Robert Crowley (Rebecca) of Winfield, Rick Crowley (Dorthy) of Cambridge, Joe Bruce (Tonya), and Jay Bruce, all of Atlanta; brother, Dale Crowley (Marilyn) of Winfield; sisters, Ro-gene Libby (Ed) of Whitewater and Janice Camp (Dave) of Haysville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A memorial has been established to help defray funeral expenses and contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
Eddie A. Philpott 68, WICHITA
Eddie Alvin Philpott, 68, Wichita, passed away July 30, 2011.
Memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at Glenn Park Christian Church.
He did a tour in the Navy and retired from the Wichita Fire Department.
Survivors: son, Anthony E. Philpott of Douglass; sisters, Irene Mc-Fadin of Colcord, Okla., Mary Sue (Bement) Roberts and husband, Roy of Perry, Kan.; brother, Bobbie Philpott and wife, Loretta of Gentry, Ark.; five grandchildren, Amie, Andrew, Anna, Anthony and Jacob.

Memorial service will be 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Miller, Mo..
Mark was born in Neosho, Mo. on May 6, 1957, to Max L. and Nellie Ann (Young) Mason. He was a graduate of Wichita Southeast High School and W. S. U., attended Oklahoma Technical Institute, and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Mark was employed by Boeing and the Local Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. He enjoyed woodworking, deer and quail hunting with his father and two brothers throughout various parts of Kansas He is survived by: parents, Max and Nellie Ann Mason of Augusta; brothers, Steve Mason and wife Rebecca of Little Rock, Ark., and Greg Mason of Andover; sister, Pam Mason of Hickory Creek, Texas; niece, Hannah Mason; his former wife Zita.
Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society or Hunter's Education c/o Kansas Dept, of Wildlife & Parks.
