Ervin E. Grant 87 EL DORADO
Ervin E. Grant, 87, El Dorado, passed away at his home on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug.27, 2011, at the El Dorado First United Methodist Church, followed by entombment at Bella Vista Mausoleum, El Dorado.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served his community and state in many capacities during his life. He was an attorney in the Butler County Attorney’s Office, on the local school board (as a member and as their attorney), and the Butler County Watershed District Board.
He is survived by: wife, Mary Jo; two children, Laurie and Randy; four grandchildren; sister, Wilma Jean Groom; two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home for the following: Grant College Scholarship Fund; Hospice Facility of your choice; or Survivors Ministry of the First United Methodist Church.
Leatrice Noeller 82, Augusta
Leatrice Marie (Owens) Noeller, 82, passed away on Monday,Aug. 22, 2011, at Lake-Point in Augusta.
The family will have a private service to celebrate her life.
Leatrice was bom on Sept. 22,1928 in San Francisco, Calif, to Beauregard and Gertrude (Van Loon) Owens. She married Gus Noeller in San Francisco on May 12,1948, and they soon moved to Augusta. Gus and Leatrice had six children. She worked as a house keeper and loved to play games. Her competitive nature showed ^
very quickly, even though she did not care whether she won or lost.
Gus preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing: sons, Steven (Janette) Noeller of Colorado Springs, Colo.,
Russell Noeller of Augusta, Randy (Linda) Noeller of Augusta, Scott (Cindy) Noeller of Kentucky; daughters, Gale (Douglas) Cation of El Dorado, and Terry (Rick) Davis of Augusta; sister, Mickey Webb of Stock-ton, Calif.; brother, Mark Owens of Hamlet, NC; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Billy Ball, 78, Potwin, died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2012.
Funeral service was held yesterday at Lamb Funeral Home in White-water.
Survivors include: nephew, Steve Ball of Potwin; niece, Diane
(Mike) Wilds and Alisha Ball, both of Manhattan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Irene Ball, and brother, Keith Ball.
Memorials may be made to Wheat State Manor in care of the funeral home.
