Marian Joyce McNeil
85, OWASSO, OKLA.
Marian Joyce McNeil, 85, passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday,
Sept. 27, 2011, in Owasso, McNeil Okla.
Funeral service was held on Friday, Sept. 30, at the Firs United Methodist Church in Owasso. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Topeka.
Marian was bom Sept. 4,1926, to Fred and Ruth Campbell in Topeka. She graduated from Highland Park High School with the Class of 1944. She was married from 1945 - 1967 to Calvin C. Applegate of Augusta, who passed away. After traveling to Athens, Greece in 1980, she married Jerry P. McNeil on May 16,1980, in Athens. She spent her early years as a homemaker and bookkeeper. Upon moving to Hot Springs, Ark., she was employed as an executive secretary for the architect engineer of Albert Switzer and Sons in Hot Springs, Ark.; she was President of WIC -Women in Construction from 1970-1978; and she was employed as executive secretary for Odia Grafa, the engineer who was in charge of all physical construction of a new Israli Air Base in WadaOvda. She and Jerry lived there two years before returning to Tulsa, Okla. On April 1, 1985, they moved into the dream home they built at the end of the Gundy runway. For over 31 years, she was a member of EAA Flying Association. Marian loved attending air shows or just traveling around the country in their RV. She truly enjoyed family and friends until she went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Loving family members include: husband of 31 years, Jerry P. McNeil of the home; daughter, Priscilla J. Stanley, husband Steve and grandson, Nicholas Applegate of Rose Hill; son, Calvin C. Applegate, wife Debbie and grandchildren, Kyle Applegate and Ashley Pool, of Augusta; step-sons, Britt McNeil of Owasso, Okla., and Minor McNeil, wife Debra, of Benton, Ark.; great-grandchildren,
Jack and Jenna Crosby, Karsyn Pool and Kellen Lawrence; step-grand-children, Dane McNeil and Katie Walters; step great-grandchildren, Legend and Nicholas Walters; sister-in-law, Vercel Campbell of Foley, Ala.;many nieces and nephews and numerous loving friends.

Robert "Robby" D. Wheeler II, 26, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
Graveside memorial service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Wichita.
He was born on Oct. 21,1984 to Robert and Mary Wheeler, in Wichita,
Robby is survived by: his children, Haleigh and Hayden Wheeler; mother, Mary Wheeler; sister, Sara (Josh) Andrews; grandparents, Ruth Mary Gilbert and Dale Wheeler; aunt, Carla Gilbert; cousin, Tyler Gilbert; and nephew, Patrick Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Wheeler, and grandfather, Carl E. Gilbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Comcare, Suicide Prevention Coalition, 635 N. Main, Wichita, KS 67203.

52, MERRIT ISLAND, FLA.
Mickie S. (Jones) Muha, 52, Merrit Island Fla., formerly of Towan-da, passed away on Aug. 29, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at the Towanda Baptist Church.
She was a 1976 graduate of Circle High School.
Her survivors include: two daughters, Layla (John) Dowdy of Rocklege Fla. and Nicole (Adam)Wallace; two grandchildren, Camryn and Coby; husband, Nathan Muha, step-son, Chad Muha, all of the Merritt Island Fla.; mother, Margaret June Jones of Andover; sister, Vickie Hummel of Andover; brother, Rick (Debbie) Jone of Corpus ChristiTexas; three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded by her father, William Charles Jones, and her grandparents.
