Lyle L. Easter
88, DOUGLASS

Lyle L.Easter, age 88, retired General Motors service manager, of Douglass, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.
Funeral service 10a.m. Wednesday at Douglass United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow, Douglass, with burial to follow at Douglass Cemetery.
Lyle served his country in the Marines during WWII on-board the battleship USS West Virginia.L Survivors include; wife, LeElla; daughters, Noma Paulin, Jenice Easter; sons, Rick and Ted Easter, 8 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials maybe made in Lyle’s name to the Douglass Methodist Church.

92, WICHITA

Arline Ling Hon Lew, 92, homemaker and volunteer, passed away on Wednesday, Oct.19, 2011.
Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at First Evangelical Free Church with burial following at 12 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Augusta.
She is survived by: sons, James W. Lew (Gale), of Wichita,
Wayne S. Lew (Ginger), of Lenexa; daughters, Janet L. Brehm (Jim), of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Yolanda L. Black (John), of Augusta; sisters, May Y. Leong, of Hilton Head, S.C. and Jeanne Eng (Dr. Lawrence), of Palo Alto, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 5 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with First Evangelical Free Church, 1825 North Woodlawn, Wichita, KS, 67208. Tributes maybe sent to the family via www.dlwichita.com.
