Joyce R. O’Neal
83, AUGUSTA

Joyce R. (Ozbun) O’Neal, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 7,
2011 at Lakepoint of Augusta.
Viewing will be Joyce O’Neal held from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9; funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.10, both at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Joyce was born April 15,1928, to Charles and Gladys (Smith) Ozbun in Great Bend, Kan. and was one of their 10 children. She married John O'Neal on May 30,1961, in Augusta.
Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping, loved flowers and collecting clowns. Joyce retired from Boeing working in publications.
Her survivors include:her daughter, Kimberly Sponsel and her husband Pat of Wichita; grandchildren, Mandy, Brandon, Holly and Britton, and a great-granddaughter, Kaylynn, all of Wichita; brother, Larry Ozbun of Craig, Colo.; sister. Judy Willis of Carson City, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; son, Shawn David ONeai, and seven siblings.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church, 1600 North State Street, Augusta, 67010, or in care of the funeral home.

Jean Wampler
81, WICHITA

Jean Wampler, 81, former professional cake decorator, Wichita, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at the T¥ue Church of the Firstborn, Wichita.
She is preceded in death by husband, Lee Frederick Wampler; parents and one brother.
Survivors include: daughter, Patricia L. Ohtola of Madison,
Ohio; son, Tom Wampler; sisters, Vera Hanson and Ruth Bond of Augusta; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with the True Church of the Firstborn.
Services by Broadway Mortuary.

Sierra Brooks
11, AUGUSTA

Sierra Brooks, 11, Augusta, Augusta Middle School student passed away Dec. 7, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12; memorial service at 3 p.m. Tbesday, Dec. 13, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.
Sierra was preceded in death by her grandma Sharon Dixon and grandpa David Dixon.
Survivors are: father, Jeff Brooks and partner Jan Mead of Wichita;
mother, Nina Brooks and husband Tim Gray of Augusta; brothers, Cody Brooks, Seoul Peterson arid Deyton Peterson; step-brothers, Skyler Gray, Donovan Gray, Kody Gray, all of Augusta; grandparents, Jessica Dixon of Wichita, Carol Brooks of Rose Hill, and John (Donna) Brooks of Wichita; aunt, Jennifer (Jerry) Peterson of Rose Hill, Norma Dixon of Wichita, and great-aunt Sandy (Rick) Medley of Wichita.
