73, AUGUSTA

Sondra S. "Sandy” Dowell, 73, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday,March 6,
2012.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at Headley Funeral Chapel Sandy Dowell and service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at First Assembly of God, Augusta. Burial will follow at Kuster Cemetery, Augusta.
Sandy was born in Wichita on Dec. 31,1938, to the late Juanita (Ramsey) and Thomas Gilbert O’Dell. She retired after 35 years as an upholsterer at Cessna Aircraft.
She married Lloyd R "Whitey" Dowell on April 8,1972 in Augusta, and he survives. She is also survived by: son, Tim Kolb (Jackie), Cherokee, Okla.; daughter, Teresa Vaughn (Clay), Wellington; son, Gilbert Kolb (Mary), Augusta; daughter, Traci Wice (Bob) Flint, Mich.; son, Darren Kolb, Springfield, Mo.; daughter, Melissa Johnston, Augusta; adopted son, Sterling Kolb Dowell, Flint, Mich.; step daughters, Brenda White (Danny), Towanda, and Sandra Aitchison (Tom), Augusta; sisters, Judy Warren, Springfield, Mo. and Cinda Cates, Ft. Scott; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kassondra Lavonne Kolb Hutson; sisters, Coeta Bowman and Sara Nell Crowell; brother, Thomas O’Dell.
Memorial donations to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Augusta Assembly of God.

44, WICHITA

Jeffery Wade Little, 44, LaFarge Corp. supervisor, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
Visitation with the family will be 6:30 - 8 p.m., Friday, March 9, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita. Service 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas, Wichita. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Survivors: wife, DeeDee; sons, Chance and Cade of the home; parents, Tommy J. and Mary Frances Little of Andover; grandmother, Arlene Jerret of Arkansas City; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends and extended family.
Preceded in death by sister, Cindy M. Lane.

Reba Norris
90, WICHITA

Reba Louise Norris, 90, retired Cessna electrical assembler, passed away March 5, 2012.
Viewing is 12 to 8 p.m. today; funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, John Norris in 1995; one brother and two sisters.
Survivors are: son, Jack (Charlotte) Norris of Augusta; daughter, Betty (Carol) Belt of Wichita; two grandchildren; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
