85, Augusta

Madonna Fern (Seibert) Seymour, 85, homemaker,Augusta,passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, Augusta. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on-Thursday, at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio, Augusta.
Madonna was born Nov. 21,1926, to Wendell Otha and Dorothy Irene (Haskins) Seibert in El Dorado. She married Russell James Seymour in El Dorado on June 18,1948.
Survivors include: her husband Russell of almost 64 years of Augusta; daughters, Sondra (Kenneth) Franklin of Beloit, Denise (Mike)


Orletta Elsa (Plett) Ketts
90, Augusta

Orletta Elsa (Plett) Ketts, 90, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9,2012 at the Augusta Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Orletta was born in Lehigh, Kan. on Dec. 11, 1921 to David E. Plett and Helena Esther Pankratz Plett. On Aug. 3,1947 she married Ben Ketts at Ramona, Okla, in a double ring ceremony with her sister, Betty, and Gale Fletcher.
She is survived by: her beloved and caring husband, Ben Ketts; two daughters, Nancy Lehti, husband Eric, of Ttilsa, Okla, and Connie John-




Mary Wells
90, Augusta

Mary Lucille (Cooper) Wells, 90, Augusta, passed away Sunday,May 6,
2012.
Viewing loll a.m. and service 11 a.m., both Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Central Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mary was born in Bay, Ark.on June 3,1921, to the late Effie (Morgan) and Arthur Cooper. She worked as an inspector at Boeing and was a farmer. Mary was a member of Central Baptist Church, EHU, and was a leader in 4-H. On Feb. 20,1943 at Little Rock, Ark. she married Vernon G. Wells who survives her.
She is also survived by: son, Vernon G. Wells, Jr. of Marysville, CA; daughter, Linda Cantu

Barbara Miles
81, Douglass

Barbara Jean Miles, 82, Douglass, died peacefully at home, Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Hil-yard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass. Private family services.
She was the loving wife of Bob; mother of Steve (Margaret) Miles, Sandra (Paul Norman) Miles, Stuart (Debbie) Miles; grandmother of Shannon, Carie, Seth, Justin, Casey and Megan; great-grandmother to Travis and Clayton; sister to Betty, Jack, and Max (Mary). She was also an aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 439 N. McLean Blvd. Ste. 100, Wichita, KS 67203.
